KYOTO XANADU -the Blooming Phantom- Editions & Limited Package Guide
Compare KYOTO XANADU Standard, Limited Edition, and Nintendo Switch 2 packages: pricing, exclusive costume DLC, upgrade pass, and what importers should buy.
Standard Edition Pricing
The Japan and Asia standard edition retails for ¥7,920 including tax on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Clouded Leopard Entertainment publishes Asian territories outside Japan with Korean and Traditional Chinese text on supported platforms while sharing the same Steam app ID as Japan.
Nintendo Switch 2 Edition costs ¥8,070 digitally and includes enhanced visuals over the base Switch build. At launch, Falcom noted no physical Switch 2 Edition in Japan — digital purchase or upgrade path only.
Limited Edition Contents (¥10,560)
The Limited Edition bundles the game (platform of choice), a mini soundtrack CD, a fifteen-card Hirasaka Academy Action Card set usable in Class Preparation, a wooden engraved coaster, and an exclusive Rei and Fuka costume DLC packaged in a special art box. Falcom stated the costume DLC is not planned for separate sale — importers seeking cosmetic exclusives should track remaining LE stock.
Steam Limited Edition ships a voucher code rather than a disc. PlayStation 5 and Switch LE include physical game packages plus the bonus goods listed on the official Falcom site updated March 2026.
- Game license (PS5, Switch, or Steam voucher)
- Mini soundtrack CD
- 15-card Hirasaka Academy Action Card set
- Wooden engraved coaster
- Exclusive Rei & Fuka costume DLC (LE only)
- Special art box packaging
Switch 2 Upgrade Pass
Switch owners who already bought the Switch version can purchase a ¥150 upgrade pass to unlock the Switch 2 Edition digitally. This mirrors Nintendo's cross-generation upgrade pattern and avoids repurchasing the full ¥8,070 SKU. Verify your Nintendo Account region matches your game purchase before buying the pass.
What Western Buyers Should Know
Western release remains planned for Summer 2026 without confirmed publisher or pricing. Until then, Asian physical imports remain the primary option for collectors. Limited Edition costume DLC is account-bound — confirm platform region before importing a code from resale markets.
