KYOTO XANADU -the Blooming Phantom- Labyrinth Map Guide
Navigate the Xanadu labyrinth beneath Hirasaka Academy: floor structure, 2D corridors, 3D gates, Uncertain Zones, and progression milestones.
Xanadu Structure Overview
Xanadu is the otherworldly labyrinth accessed from Hirasaka Academy — the origin point of monsters encroaching on modern Kyoto. Floors blend 2D side-scrolling exploration with gate-triggered 3D arena battles. Terrain can be reshaped using Soul Device abilities to reveal hidden paths, Aether crystals, and cursed armor drops. Map completion percentage tracks cleared rooms, rescued students, and purified statues.
Each major story chapter opens new wings with higher Aether density and stronger Guardian trials. Return to earlier floors after acquiring traversal upgrades — wall kicks and double jumps expose shortcuts that skip entire corridors on repeat dives.
Uncertain Zones
Uncertain Zones are hazardous sub-areas where Chapel rescue requests spawn stranded students. Layouts shift slightly between visits and enemy density spikes. Bring Sena or other ranged specialists for vertical rescue paths. Clearing Uncertain Zones contributes to academy contribution points and unlocks bond scenes with rescued characters.
Gate Points & Boss Arenas
Fixed gate markers on the map preview trigger mandatory 3D segments. Boss arenas at floor ends require Issen proficiency and full Secret Arts gauges. Check Facility Request boards before entering — some objectives must be completed within the same dive before returning to Kyoto.
Farming Routes
Post-chapter farming loops target Aether-rich corridors near Sacred Tree blessing thresholds and cursed armor drop tables on specific floors. Avoid overfilling Aether Vials during farm runs; Aether Poisoning wastes time returning to hub. Mark elemental terrain rooms tied to Research Building requests for efficient daily material collection.
