KYOTO XANADU -the Blooming Phantom- Party Build Guide

Recommended party builds and team compositions for KYOTO XANADU covering early game, mid-game 3D bosses, and Facility Request farming.

Build Philosophy

KYOTO XANADU lets you set one active labyrinth leader while other party members contribute through bond assists and class-granted passive bonuses — not full AI companions in most routes. Builds therefore optimize your active character's Soul Device, Guardian Cards, and class stats rather than traditional JRPG party synergy. Plan around who you control during each request type.

Rotate leaders between dives: Kazuki for 2D mob floors, Fuka for 3D gate bosses, Sena for vertical Chapel maps. Shared class stats mean investment in Wisdom, Virtue, and Valor benefits whoever you activate.

Early Game (Chapters 1–2)

Lead: Rei or Kazuki for forgiving Guard. Guardian: neutral physical cards from first 3D trials. Class focus: Action Cards boosting Virtue for Soul Device HP nodes. Avoid overstacking Shoot Gauge skills before double jump unlocks — traversal matters more than DPS early.

Mid Game (Chapters 3–5)

Lead: Fuka for Issen-centric 3D bosses. Guardian: fire homing plus wind bomb combo for stagger chains. Support Cards: bond-maxed partners before high-CP Action Cards. Secondary bench: Sena with ice lasers for Research material routes. Purify at least one cursed armor set per element before Chapter 5 gear check gates.

Late Game & Farming

Lead: specialist matching daily Facility Request board. Guardian: full elemental set with Secret Arts gauge boosters. Class: rotate Support Cards off cooldown via campus interactions before marathon dives. Offer Aether at Sacred Tree between runs — blessings stack clear speed more than raw weapon upgrades at this stage.
