Episode 3 Calendar (Oct 9–23)

Episode 3 spans October 9 through October 23 on community story charts updated through launch week. Layer 3 · Twilight Castle (第三層・黄昏城郭) opens October 10 when Lulu joins the party and Sacred Tree prayers expand again. Kazuki and Sena become simultaneously swappable October 9 — plan Guardian loadouts for ranged-heavy castle corridors before diving.

October 9 also unlocks Karasuma-Oji Avenue with a city bonus reset and new Personal Notes entries (Tomoe Furube, Sōshi Akazome). Use the evening for gourmet and bookstore purchases; midterm prep nights appear later in the episode.

Twilight Castle & Otherworld Gates

Twilight Castle emphasizes ranged enemies and vertical 3D arenas — Dengeki's June 2026 footage recommends Lulu for airborne targets. Between October 12 and October 19, Suo assigns Otherworld Gates across Kyōgoku Shopping Street, Karasuma-Oji, Gion, and Honmachi. Clear each gate on the notified day to keep calendar pressure manageable; optional afternoons stack quickly if ignored.

Layer 2 and Layer 3 Uncertain Zones stabilize October 15, expanding farming routes for cursed armor before Episode 4's water-themed Layer 4.

October 23 — Dark Heaven Spirit Mountain

October 23 morning is locked to midterm exams; the afternoon forces Dark Heaven Spirit Mountain (暗天霊山) — a one-time story dungeon separate from numbered labyrinth layers. Boss Three-faced Sukuna (三面宿儺) concludes the area. Immediately after the second Relic, turn right into the hidden path for the Soul Sword Shrine (御魂の剣塚) relic that extends Soul Accel duration — missing it here may require NG+ per community missable lists.
